About Alltale
A sibling-run studio in Brisbane, Australia, making games that all take place in one world.
The studio
Alltale started as three siblings who kept making things together: games, animations, music. In 2025 we made it a studio. We build in Unreal Engine 5 and we learn in public, on the devlog.
A few things we decided early and wrote down so we could not quietly forget them:
- No crunch. Good games take the time they take. We would rather ship later than ship tired.
- The founders keep creative control. Permanently. Whatever else changes about the business, the last word on the games stays with the three of us.
- We treat people well, and we put it in writing. Anyone who works with us gets fair terms and credit, in the contract, not just in conversation.

Sorosh "Sol" Saba
Co-founder. Design, programming, music.
Started Split Black in Unreal Engine 5 in 2025 and built its combat, effects and enemy AI from scratch. Writes the music too. Has been writing the universe the games live in since he was thirteen.

The world behind the games
Spirit of Two is a science-fiction setting Sol has been writing since he was thirteen. Every Alltale game takes place somewhere inside it. Split Black is the first door in; others will open as we go, and the plan is that the story eventually reaches beyond games into books and music.
You never need to know any of that to enjoy a single game. But if you play more than one, you will start to notice the same names, the same places, the same history, told from different sides.
